About This Blog
This blog is primarily cake-recipe based, but, from time to time, I will include some savoury ones too. I also like to write about my travels and encounters, especially if they involve great food. I speak as I find. Opinions expressed are my own, and not sponsored, requested, or paid for by others, unless specifically stated.
Wow! Colette they sound amazing! Love the idea of the apple and port!
ReplyDeleteAnd another great way to use 'white gold'!
M
Thanks, M :) They are tasty, but rich too! My white gold is very precious.
DeleteThese look lovely Colette! I have never tried blue cheese. We like savoury tarts here so I must try something more adventurous:) Hope you are having a good week!

Thank you, Anne :) I like to throw a savoury recipe in to the blog, from time to time. Hope your week is going well too.
DeleteThey look wonderful. I love blue cheese (and goats cheese). :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val, still have to overcome my "fear" of Goat's cheese!
DeleteHi Collette - don't fear goat's cheese anymore! May I recommend Killeen goat's cheese to you! It's made by Marion Roeleveld near Portumna in Co. Galway. Her cheese has been winning many of the top awards including best goat's cheese at the British Cheese Awards. It tastes very pure and clean without having an overpowering "goaty" taste. She also has flavoured varieties which are also really lovely. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment Anita, I certainly will look out for that one. It sounds like just the thing for me :)
