About This Blog

This blog is primarily cake-recipe based, but, from time to time, I will include some savoury ones too. I also like to write about my travels and encounters, especially if they involve great food. I speak as I find. Opinions expressed are my own, and not sponsored, requested, or paid for by others, unless specifically stated.

Part 1 - The Brown Hound Bakery

The IFBA (Irish Food Bloggers Association) recently organised an outing to the Eastern Seaboard Bar and Grill, and two newly- opened sister-businesses, The Brown Hound Bakery and Mo's 2 Go Take-Away, located in Drogheda, Co. Louth.  As I am already a customer, I just had to go along, to learn a little more about them.

  2. Thank you. The cakes there are so good. A great addition to the area. I love the fact that everything is made upstairs too.

  3. I envy you living so close to all these amazing businesses - but if I'm honest, it's just as well for my waistline that I don't live any closer than I do to the bakery in particular! It was lovely to meet you on Saturday.

  5. It's so tempting, Kristin, not to go every single day. Dicipline is the key! Lovely to meet you, and hope to see you again soon.
